Department of Social Work, Asia University

Our department is located at the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (Department Building Inside & Outside). 

It is important to combine both academic theories and practice in the social work program. We provide abundant hardware and software facilities to meet students’ learning needs. The hardware facilities include: 

Counseling Room (M108a)

Case and Group Wrok Teaching Room and Observation Room (M108b)

Computer Lab in artificial intelligence (AI) Service (M118)

Distance Education Lab (HB86)

Software equipment includes SAS, SPSS, Minitab, and network operation systems(TronClass & M.S.Teams).

We provide a Multifunctional Room (M119) for graduate students, where they can conduct research, group discussions, case practice and community action services.

We also embrace an interdisciplinary approach that encompasses the Healthcare Administration Department, the Physical Therapy Department, and the Graduate Institute of Healthcare Administration (Master's Program in Healthcare Administration / Doctoral's Program in Healthcare Administration) to create a community healthcare laboratory and collaboratively establish a research center. Moreover, our social work field practicum has been cooperating with many national social welfare institutions to provide students a better opportunity to engage in social work practice.
