Internship

To prepare students for their future social work careers, students are placed in social welfare institutions to gain field experiences for their internships, to work in communities to promote healthcare work. Students will learn how to combine theory with practice, and will be guided by both a field instructor and a faculty member in the social work department.

 

Undergraduate Program

By the third year of college, undergraduate students are required to complete 120 hours of volunteer work before they are allowed to do their internship. For internships, students must complete a total of 640 hours of field internship, with 320 hours during the summer break, and 320 hours during the spring and fall semesters. 

 

Graduate Program

Graduate students conduct independent studies within the related regulations, and must complete 240 hours of field internship.
